I have a nephew that looks like Jean-Luc Picard. Does that count?glauber wrote:I like him... his facial expression reminds me a lot of a dog who used to live with my family, a pointer. I like Scott too, but for most of the first season, to me he looked lost. Kind of like he was waiting for Al to tell him what situation he had leapt into. I kept waiting for him to call the computer “Ziggy.”glauber wrote:I like him... his facial expression reminds me a lot of a dog who used to live with my family, a pointer. Costumes and high heels aside, I hope the writing improves if UPN decides to keep Enterprise around. Most of the characters are just plain bland. And I’d prefer a storyline that would let me escape from current events for an hour or so each week, not relive them in a different setting. I don't mind social commentary, the original series was full of it, but the lack of originality is disappointing.

Yeah, that's a shame...dhigbee wrote: It seems that to be a women of the future, you have to be dramatically underweight, well-endowed on top, and thin on the bottom. You flaunt that figure by wearing skin-tight uniforms and high heels. (How professional/military is that?) Perhaps the producers are thinking that this is a selling point of the show, but it turns me off.

Weeks: that is a highly inappropriate, sexist post. Actually, yeh, y're right about Marina S. Although the Star Trek woman who really worked for me was Nichelle Nichols (spelling?), who played Uhura (spelling again?).The Weekenders wrote:I didn't even know it was still on. I still want Marina Sirtis to have my baby. I only wanna fool around with Jeri Ryan. Ha, talk about a bionic body.
Time for that cold shower again.

Yes, it is good news. Even if it isn't the BEST series, it IS still a
Star Trek series; and there isn't much else on network tv that
I find of interest anymore; so yes, it IS good news.
One night of tv that I can enjoy a week; without it being so boring that
I do my practicing while the evening shows are on.
