Devondancer update

We are safely home. Lesley is sleeping and our consultant friend will stay the night with us to keep an eye on her. Very long day and she is exhausted but we look forward to tomorrow.

I hope Lesley wakes up to a great big honking breakfast. If my wife and I were going to have caregivers and other folks in our house to keep an eye on us, we would do all kinds of strange stuff just to mess with em. Give it a thought.

All well. Lesley had a good night and has enjoyed her day although she has been kept very quiet! Our consultant friend is pleased with her and will come back and see her on Wednesday. I am so pleased to be able to say All is well. Now she just has to rest and eat!

Nice spot of weather coming up from Wednesday onwards, we're told. Something to look forward to! If you feel slightly stronger vibes than usual on Wednesday evening it'll be because I'll be in East Budleigh village hall at a 90th birthday bash!

The news continues to be good. My amazing wife has checked out the garden today and the spare room (new carpet, fitted by our friends in our absence.) Most of her time is spent asleep or eating but she is definitely here. She has not started whistling yet but that is imminent I can see. I drove her round the seafront this afternoon and she was almost in tears with pleasure. Then asleep again.
She sends her love and her thanks and will write herself soon. She remains shy.
