Tell us something.: I used to be a regular then I took up the bassoon. Bassoons don't have a lot of chiff. Not really, I have always been a drummer, and my C&F years were when I was a little tired of the drums. Now I'm back playing drums. I mist the C&F years, though.

All the internet journals in the world and no one is forced to read a one. But entire grades in schools across the country will be made to read 'Wave.' You're lucky.

Most of the kids will be thrilled it's so short. :-)

That is very good indeed, Dale!

Great point. They're going to love me. They're going to love me more than Animal Farm, even.

I just can't imagine that unit without your poem, Dale. We are proud to include it!

Well, you've made my year. Me and Emily Dickinson and Basho e.e. cummings are so grateful. We were just talking about it at breakfast.

Thanks.

Tell us something.: "Tell us something" hits me a bit like someone asking me to tell a joke. I can always think of a hundred of them until someone asks me for one. You know how it is. Right now, I can't think of "something" to tell you. But I have to use at least 100 characters to inform you of that.

Most excellent, and well-deserved. I remember reading that when you first posted it. I enjoy poems that can contain very profound thoughts in very few words. Certain other writers sharing the chapter with you could stand to take the hint. :D

If I may say so, my proudest literary moment was when my story about a trip to Green Mountain was published in Six Hole Theory. Though, of course, it wasn't called Six Hole Theory back then. And I'm pretty sure no one has drawn little fighter planes on it. sniff.

Congratulations, Dale. I was thinking the same thing when I read the list of authors. Dale, your poem may be short, but I had to explain it to someone close to me. I read it to her, and she just looked at me with the look of, "So?"

You realize, Dale, that the next step on the ladder to literary greatness is death. What a pleasure to have known you!

Way to drag the poor guy's head back down to earth. Couldn't you have broken it a little more gently?

That is a very, very good poem, Dale, even if it cannot be sung to the theme from Gilligan's Island like Hope is the Thing with Feathers can be.

Wow Dale. That's very cool.

Think they'd be interested in any of my PROCTology haikus?

Seriously though...Congratulations. All those literary big shots are lucky to be on the same page with as a fine fellow as you. :)
