The Dark Room Magic of NPR
Definitely interesting.

In October, they started a new news oriented show, The Bryant Park Project. It's quite different from their usual style. Click on the link to get a page where you can listen to it in streaming media.

Best wishes,

I love NPR. As someone stuck in the car all day while working I really appreciate what they do and our station is really great.

I do confess though, that I've been listening to Dr Laura too lately....
I'm a backslider. :(

I love NPR, too. If it weren't for them and the local college FM stations I probably wouldn't listen to radio at all.

Dr. Laura gives me the heebee-jeebees, though. Way too holier-than-thou for me, thank you.
Every time I turn around, I wonder where I've been.
Time to stop turning round, I guess.

She's a bit too "cater to your man" to suit me. But the stuff folks call her about- :o Sure breaks the monotony of the day.

Radio Reader is my favorite show on NPR. Second choice is the three hours of classical music with commentary from our local host. I learn a lot listening to that one.

When she's right, she's very, very right, and when she's wrong, she is horrid.
