Let's see...Azalin wrote:Well, isnt using "me" instead of "my" an irish thing? So when you say "it's driving me nuts", doesnt it make more sens coming from an irish person?
A Chassidic Rabbi goes into a pub with a steering wheel sticking out of the front of his trousers. Barman says "Excuse me, sir, but do you realise that you have a steering wheel sticking out of the front of your trousers?" "Yeah," the Rabbi says. "It's driving me nuts."
Nope, gotta be Irish

A couple of Rabbis are seated together on a bench in their Synagogue on a bright afternoon. After a time, one of them heaves a sigh and says: "T G I F."
After a few moments, the second Rabbi heaves a sighs and responds: "S H I T."
The first Rabbi starts at that and addresses the second " what did you just say?"
"S H I T" says the second Rabbi.
"That's what I thought you said. That is not a word I would use at any time and especially not in my Synagogue!"
"Why not," says the second Rabbi, "you said T G I F?"
"Yes I did, " says the first Rabbi, " and it means Thank God It's Friday." The second Rabbi looks up and says " So Happens It's Thursday."
Badum bump.
Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all weekend, try the veal....

"Last night, among his fellow roughs,
He jested, quaff'd and swore."
They cut me down and I leapt up high
I am the life that'll never, never die.
I'll live in you if you'll live in me -
I am the lord of the dance, said he!
