That's Isabella with a soft S, rather than a Z sound. It took awhile, Lucky is more nose and mouth pawed but she finally got on a couch left leg first.

My wife really loved "Danger" but shouting "Danger" is not too cool and "Danger" didn't have a nice alliteration with "Lucky". Someone suggested "Isabella". Lucky Isabella flows nice.

Lucky's last name is the same as our last name. Thanks for asking.
only a few of my cats have chosen my sir name, most have opted for the feral-catonian.
of course they can form vowels easier than consonants.
I must remember we are talking about dogs here.
and you're welcome.

Excellent! You can call her Iss or Issy for short!

The bandana gender issue has a quick and easy solution. Just crochet a tasteful lace border around each.

Hmm, Labella sounds rather like labellum/labellar, the term for insect mouthparts, like that spongy mop-it-up thing flies have. Which might be good for a dog, I don't know. Might be good for some girls with that name, too.

Funny story about "Lisa." I could never figure out why US Government issue soap, the little white bars, were imprinted with "LISA." I checked the packaging and ordering information to no avail. I asked people about it, but they just looked at me strangely and crept away. I decided it was a brand name, but the mystery tormented me . . . "Lisa Soap." Took me years . . . YEARS, I tell you . . . to figure out that it was actually USA in block letters. And that's what I think of every time I meet someone named Lisa. Probably no one else will think this, but I wanted you to know.

She's naked.

Since we're only going to use Lucky's middle name when she's in trouble, I don't see much sense in making the name sound cuter.

So, she only gets to associate her femininity with bad behavior? hmm...

Then her name should be "Lucky... NOT!"
Giles: "We few, we happy few."
Spike: "We band of buggered."

You two sound like teenagers. Did it not cross the undeveloped teenage minds of either one of you that we might be using her full name when she is "in trouble" to get her "out of trouble"?

No, not the way you phrased it. (And you sound like an old grump. )
