I saw this a week or two ago in an email someone sent around. I can't help but feel sorry for the poor dogs! I agree the Clydesdale is pretty cool, but some of those other ones :really:

Yuck.
And now there was no doubt that the trees were really moving - moving in and out through one another as if in a complicated country dance. ('And I suppose,' thought Lucy, 'when trees dance, it must be a very, very country dance indeed.')

Well, it's silly, but not sillier than a lot of other weird creative things people do.
If it were less tolerable to the dogs than the regular grooming that they probably accept as a
normal part of their lives, then I'd find it more objectionable. I suppose, though, that they're
accustomed to being show dogs and probably don't mind.

I'm afraid I'm a bit of a vegetarian, hippy tree-hugger. I hate the way we change everything into what we want it to be, instead of just loving what it is.

With no personal offense intended to anyone here who breeds or shows animals, I heartily disapprove of it. I might sound off more when PROCT reopens. This isn't the place for my whining, and it's not my thread.

Irishers love to dress-up. Here's one getting ready to take a bath is some clean water.

And here's one with a fancy hair cut.

Not to worry B...I'm that too. I'm just trying to think from the dogs pov. But I'm sure, given that, they'd rather be dogs and roll in the mud and a dead animal or two.

 Great answer....as I look out at the rain coming down, wanting to run around and play in the mud :D Although, I really could do without the dead animal or two....mud will do for me ;)

I will admit I did like the purple on that first poodle. But that was because I was contemplating how it would look if I put streaks of that color into my hair...not because I thought it looked good on the poor poodle :P

The poodle's body image is strong enough.
It does not obsess over its looks.

I agree that the dogs look absurd- but the owners are certainly creative, and a bit tetched maybe?
I wouldn't assume that these dogs have never given themselves a mud bath and eau de death fragrance treatment- I know mine do on a regular basis

What you really need is about eight of those Clydesd'ogs and a scale Bud wagon for them to pull.

You can put a midget in it with a few Dalmatian puppies.

That would be cool.

:D
