A lot of these are not worthy of shame.

I don't even know who Rufus Wainright is!
I'm no longer trying a new posting paradigm

"Sugar, Sugar" by the Archies. Whenever I hear it, I want to pound on the table and cry like a baby.

And of course -- the Cowsills.

Q. What would it take to get all of the Cowsills back together again?

A. Three more hurricanes.

Thanks. I feel like I've been given permission to dislike him, too. Which I do.
Oh yes, you have permission. In fact:

A decree, that everyone in the world now has permission to hate Rufus Wainwright as much as I do.

Yeah, tough to believe he's the offspring of the guy who gave us "Dead skunk in the middle of the road."

I absolutely hate the dreaded offspring of a relationship of genuis.
The Sisiters I adore, Loudon ain't far behind and if I had a penny for every English guy I got hooked on Loudoun..especially Dead Skunk..intro level for the average Brit...

I swear that's true..believe me, I live here.

I'm almost 37, and I have Kermit's "The Rainbow Connection" downloaded onto my iPod.

And I'm joining Cofaidh in the mosh pit. Which makes the above confession even stranger. :D

I love Kermit's Rainbow Connection. Willie Nelson's version is on my iPod, but he tries to jazz up the tune and it's a botch. You can't sing along without great frustration.

I have a version of Frank Sinatra singing "Leaving on a Jet Plane." What a train wreck.

This is true. Some people seem to mis-understand the point of the exercise. If you listen to a lot of a style then that's surely just your personal taste. The shame and confession should apply to something abnormal in your collection.

For example I could say I've got a a heap of 80s thrash albums and every album by Ugly Kid Joe. To some people here that would be embarrassing, but as the bulk of my CD collection is metal and rock then that's not really a surprise or something to confess.

The copy of TLC's CrazySexyCool however...
