Thanks, Moon, for rounding us up for this each year; and thanks, Alan, for hosting the music and making a beautiful page this year that is 100% pun free. Love and holiday cheer to all of Chiffdom and to the dear friends with whom I've warmed my toes around the blazing chat room Christmas fire for more than 5 years now.
I was going to say the same thing (surprise, surprise)! Your attendance issues were taken up at the last meeting of the Chat Room Board of Directors and we decided you may remain a member in good standing as long as you bring treats the next time you stop in. (See Moon for a list of acceptable treats--not just any old thing will wipe your slate clean!)

What kinda oboe are you playin'? What keywork?
Any advice to a former oboe player who's forgotten what little she knew about the thing but is going to give it a go again asap.
It is a Gordet oboe with what I think is full conservatory keywork.
I am still learning the instrument. Only had it a few years and not played it much until now but getting to like it more and more.
I was VERY fortunate to have a lapsed oboe player give me this instrument otherwise I would not have one.
Hope you get your wish and have an oboe soon!
You lucky dog!!!

We have five submissions so far and many more promised so now would be the time to get those tunes rolling in. I know you all think there's LOTS of time yet but...ahem..we won't be accepting submissions after December 25th.
Naturally, all virtual proceeds from this virtual CD will go to the virtual chatroom fund for the upgrade of the virtual men's room big screen TV, and new carpeting for the chatroom lounge to replace the orange shag The remainder will go to the purchase of new socks for Alan.

We, too, would like to thank Alan for making these performances possible. Listening to you all is something that we look forward to each year. And you all always come through beautifully.
