I haven't, of course I still am new, but still really what is the situation here?
Why build character when you already are one?

The situation is that the chat room is and has been used daily for years by a regular group of users and not so regular users. Check in about 10:00-11:00 p.m. your time (or later) and find the nightowls.

Fun, great folks! I rarely get to participate any more, and I miss it.

It is, sadly, not practical for east coast morning people.

Me too. Every now and again, I still manage to stick my head in the door and hang out for half an hour or so.

There have been many fine discussions take place on that chat channel!

A few folks show up for the Early Bird between 8 and 10 east coast time. That's not too late for the occasional Scottish insomniac to stop by. Drinks are 2-for-one and somebody usually brings a snack.

I'm one of the nightowls and we'd would love to have more people join us in the chatroom. We have a lot of fun and talk about everything..even whistles!

And to those of you I haven't seen in the chat room lately, come on in for some Christmas punch. I have had the pleasure of meeting some great people in the chatroom over the years and it would be nice to see you all again.

If more people would come in earlier to chat I could be convinced to show up earlier myself.

Oh, by the way, the chat browser on this site can be a bit wonky from time to time. Most of us "regulars" use an IRC chat client so if you have trouble getting in and staying in try Bersirc or Mirc or Icechat....

I have, very occasionally, popped my head in there. Nice place, if a little quiet.

Maybe it's time to upgrade and make a Chiffy Stickam room.

Whistles and flutes can be played there too.

Yeah, it seems to crash a lot when I try to get in...the people are nice there, though. These days I don't have much time to drop by...I have like an hour to myself between the time the baby goes to bed and I have to go to bed.

I've been in there on a few occasions, though hardly ever sober I'm afraid. Might be linked to the fact that it's about 4 in the morning here when the chat room is active.

I remember you sent me some pretty good music by a Japanese artist from the chatroom. I never would have heard it otherwise.
I'm no longer trying a new posting paradigm

Oh, and don't let the "Live Chat" screen fool you! It doesn't count the number of participants accurately. It usually says "zero," but we're in there.
