I can't find an image of it, but my favorite T-shirt says "If you don't tell your cat about catnip, who will?" and has a pic of a mouse.

My wife is from italy and I am from exclusively Irish roots. At an Irish festival one summer we found the perfect t shirts for our sons. They said, "Italian Attitude, Irish Temper".

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

All this got me wondering: whence the printed tee shirt? So far I got this from ezinearticles.com:
...the Smithsonian showcases the oldest printed tee on record which simply states, “Dew-It With Dewey”.
(And, of course, Coolidge won, no doubt in part due to voters being taken aback by the cheap and punnish spelling gaffe which unfortunately set a precedent for many a tee shirt to come. )

Japan gave the world ukiyō-e. For better or worse, 'Merkins gave the world the printed tee. I think of the printed tee as a sort of New Ukiyō-e.
