When I hear the name candy dots, I think of these:
I never liked eating them as more often than not, it involved eating some of the paper they were glued to.

Those are called Circus Peanuts. I didn't think they were so bad. They didn't really haveNanohedron wrote:Candy corn. They're flavorless, merely sweet, grainy, and ugly.
Oh, yeah, and those dense, strangely marshmallowy "peanuts", too. Yick. They had this weird, dusty, vaguely orangesque flavor.
anything to do with peanuts other than the shape which seemed really weirdly wonderful.
I thought the texture was neat, and the color was so inexplicable given the peanut shape. I though candy corn was neat---you would bite one color off at a time, endlessly entertaining. Hmmm, should I nip off the rounded end or the pointy end? They were not ugly!!! I can't imagine being annoyed at a candy. It might taste terrible but there's always something interesting about it.

The flavor is banana. I like them. Fluffy-weird like divinity candy. They're one of my great grandmother's favorites, along with chocolate drops (well, they call them creme drops, since the government doesn't actually allow them to call that coating chocolate).Cynth wrote:Those are called Circus Peanuts. Banana? Maybe I just concentrated on the texture. Banana flavor is not one of my favorites I must say. Well, it has been quite awhile.Walden wrote:The flavor is banana. I like them.
