I have never heard of a dash cam, or knew that Russians tended to use them.

What strikes me most - apart from the possible scams - are the horrific driving (and vehicle maintenance) practices.

I hitchhiked a lot in Russia in past and traveled a lot with my father in his car - witnessed some accidents like this.
The episode at 4:02 is incredibly awesome as is "flying boat encounter".
But the meteor impresses as well, indeed.

In 25 years driving here, I've seen little that resembles those dashcam vids, at least that one wouldn't expect to see occasionally anywhere. Note to self: NEVER drive in Russia.
What was striking to me was how much of that was non-car related:
Ahhh! Horse in road! Sheep in road!
Watch out, falling street light!
AHHHH! Helicopter in road!
Also, at 5:44 the driver gets out of the car after an accident, shoulders his laptop bag, and just nonchalantly walks away.
Oooo, and what a lot of damage the wheel of a semi can do when it comes off!
My knowledge of swears in Paruski is bad. I will have to watch it again and take notes. Though, some of those people seem surprisingly calm after the wrecks.
