Tell us something.: I play the first flute Jon Cochran ever made but haven't been very active on the board the last 9-10 years. Life happens I guess...I owned a keyed M&E flute for a while and I kind of miss it.

I think I am permanently scarred....The funnier part is that someone actually came up with idea "hey...I'll make a whistle out of meat." The scarier part is they actually made it.

Just try and search here archives with the keyword "haggis"... You will find some feedback on the same recurring topic

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

A blaspheming of both haggis and whistle.

--Then again, when I think of all the times I wished I could have eaten my playing...

And I had to see this before brekkies.

I think there are far too many people in this world with far too much time on their hands! What where they doing, having haggis for supper when a thought occured - hey, I could make a whistle out of this stuff? Oh yeah! Excuse me while I go find a container for my joy...

Guys, I don't think it's actually MADE out of haggis...it just has an oatmeal glaze, indicating that it's probably made out of clay.
