So, I like to keep my Susato in my truck for emergency whistling at stop lights and waiting for the truck to warm up on our cold and snowy New Hampshire mornings.
Also, when my 2 year old grandson is riding with me and is asking for " his whistle" I can hand it over and he is happy.
Well, a few days went by and I could not find said whistle in the truck. It was not to be found. Huh! Strange.
Yesterday, I glanced down and noticed something on the running boards almost hidden by sand and salt. Lo and behold it was the Susato. I have no idea how long it had been clinging on for dear life. Running boards can be precarious places, you know.
Off it went into the dishwasher and it is now good as new.
And we all lived happily ever after. The End
Susan
Oh, the poor little Susato.

Re: Oh, the poor little Susato.
Haha, cool story!
My story with my Susato high D hasn't a good ending. My niece who is 2 years old was playing once with it and since then I haven't been able to find it. I moved to another place recently, so the whistle is oficially lost forever
I learnt the lesson!
Take care of your whistles =)
