Happy Birthday John Belushi (and me)
I just discovered that John Belushi would have celebrated his 57th birthday today, as I am doing right now. I'm honored to share the day with one who brought so much reckless abandon to his humor; too bad it got a bit too reckless and self destructive. Anyway, here's to you John!

- Tell us something.: Long ago, I was told that I faked iTrad whistle work very well. I took that comment to heart. 20 years of private lessons - and many, many hours of rehearsal later - I certainly hope I have improved...

Happy Birthday
Hi Phil:
Enjoyed meeting you at last summers N.E.W.G. whistle gawking show. I'll raise a glass of something to your 57th. As for presents, you don't need any, given that you own that gorgeous green Busman !!!

Happy Birthday Phil! Yer 1.5 up on me...
What a loss Belushi was! I had the great pleasure of seeing him and Dan Ackroyd live during their one brief Blues Brothers tour (with the SNL band as backup) and it was AMAZINGLY good. The BB started out as a one shot skit on SNL, but they were a terrific performing group and Belushi was particularly great. He had a sort of snarly singing voice which really worked for blues. He got so animated that he was literally turning cartwheels across the stage!

Thanks to you all so much for the well wishes!
Annie - was that Ernie Kovacs?
Somehow I'm having trouble putting John and Neil Diamond together, but I guess it just makes a more well-rounded day somehow.
Best to you all.
