Holy craparoonie Batman. I don't know what transpired to bring that on, but geez, both J & J seem to be acting like Big Fat Babies (tm). Rule #1: Don't like it, don't read it. Rule #2: Flaming Exits are immature.
And face it, saying that people "don't deserve your presence" is something that I think Mother Theresa could say with a straight face (but would have the humility to probably never even THINK it, let alone say it), but I can't think of many other people offhand.
Wow, what a mess.

Jessie, I hate to see you leave because of some OT stuff. It seems that these boards tend to go in cycles, as some have pointed out. And they tend to degenerate sometimes too. An example: when I was studying for my professional engineer (PE) exam, the board for that would get downright disgusting and crude and Jerry-Springer-like at times. Maybe it's stress, boredom, or whatever, but lots of folks get caught up in it. Also, people seem to need to disclose their beliefs on every topic, even the hot-button ones like religion, and challenge others on whether the sky is blue. I guess that's why talk shows are so popular. I personally don't understand why someone wants to air dirty laundry on national TV, but that's fine, just not for me. I steer clear of this type of discussion except with in-person friends because you can't change another's mind in general, and I don't want to waste time arguing about things where folks just need to agree to disagree. Perhaps too, middle age has cured me of wanting to explain myself all the time or convince others of my point of view or worry about others' opinions of me. I don't know, but I just stay clear of inflammatory or deeply personal issues on this and other boards.
I hope you'll reconsider since you contribute a lot to this community. Don't take this stuff too personally. Now I'm sure someone will blast everything I just said, but I really don't care!

Make a new plan, Stan
You don't need to be coy, Roy
Just get yourself free
Hop on the bus, Gus

Just drop off the key, Lee

Jessie, you behave like a baby.
You are certainly much more mature; Jumping in to insult people (first me, which I let slide, and now Jessie) yet you seem to have nothing of value to add, you simply pop-up for some occasional name calling.
Mmm, yes very mature.....for a hypocrit.

Hmmm, I wonder if Jessie realizes that statement can have more than one meaning......the rest of you just don't deserve my presence.
John (note to self - if you should ever decide to make a foot-stomping, door-slamming exit, make sure your farewell message is free of ambiguous jibes)

OK, I can relate to the crullers thing...Other than that it is a bit wierd to insult and be insulted by people that we really don't know other than by expressions that are next to anonymous on the Board. WHen I've taken time and had opportunity to actually have specific off-line interchanges with people from the Board (mostly re selling, buying or trading whistles), I've met some really nice down-to-earth people for the most part. Anyway, were I to live another day, it would be for pasta and chocolate chip ice cream...
