A Personal Request From Dale

Post by Dale »

All of my irony and mystery aside, I am immensely proud of this community and so proud to say I founded it. Not only have I made many friends, but, by establishing the forum, I've facilitated many others becoming friends. This is from what peace is made. The Kingdom, in my belief system, built brick-by-brick. Slowly. Not to be over the top with it or anything.

In the next 48 hours, I will be going through a very difficult ordeal. I'm not at liberty, as they say, to write about what it is, but I anticipate that it will be as painful as anything I've ever had to go thru.

For those of you so disposed, I ask that you pray for me. For the rest, please keep me in your thoughts.

How true.

You're in my thoughts, in a prayer of sorts.

You'll be in my thoughts, Dale. May you come through your ordeal with grace and arrive on the other side unbroken.

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

Done, and done.

Yours is a blow for peace. Here we relearn to play and be as little children. The Man had something to say about that.

Tell us something.: I've been a C&Fer since 2003. Currently playing wooden flute & (mainly low) whistles, along with the bowed dulcimer.

Know that you are cherished and valued by many. Positive wishes and hopes--the closest this lapsed agnostic can come to prayer-- are being sent your way. All the best,

I'm not a religious person, but I'll do my best to send good vibes your way, and I'll ask some people close to me who are devout to say some prayers for you.

You're the undisputed, man, and being a part of this community has benefitted me in more ways than one.

Love,

And many a poor man that has roved,
Loved and thought himself beloved,
From a glad kindness cannot take his eyes.

Much light and many blessings that you move through your ordeal with grace and strength, Dale!
