Huge Sale of Whistles!

Post by JessieK »

My priorities have changed lately and I am going to liquidate my collection. I’m going to keep a few favorites. I have a lot of whistles, so I am going to sell them in waves. I’ll start with the ones I can part with most easily (for whatever reasons) and move onto ones I am more attached to in later waves. All of them play nicely (I already got rid of all the instruments I didn’t like). And a lot of them are, so far, duplicates in my collection. All are in like new or perfect condition (but some of the brass whistles may be slightly tarnished…I can get rid of that if the buyer wants), unless otherwise noted. Shipping will be $6 in the US and a whole lot more for international. Here’s the first wave.

Michael Copeland:

--High d phosphor bronze (looks like gold, lighter weight) … $270
--High Eb silver … $360

Glenn Schultz:

--Water Weasel D/Eb/C set … $120
--Water Weasel d … $65

Michael Burke:

--High d composite narrow bore … $90
--High d al pro … $100
--Brass pro d (brand new, but brass-in-mouth style)… $110

Paul Hayward - Silkstone:

--High d narrow bore alloy (quieter than the others) … $115
--High C alloy … $115
--2nd high C alloy …$115

Desi Seery:

--High D delrin … $140

Ok…that’s it for the first wave. Please e-mail me with any questions.

:)

Jessie, do you have any laughing whistles? I'm kind of a collector of those...

No Laughing whistles. And the only whistles I want to sell right now are the ones I listed.

I am going to update the sale list with the ones that get sold.

I have this mental image of whistle makers all over the world cringing and hustling to figure out how they're going to pay off their lathes, mills, and CNC machines...

John

P.S. - if you're going to be selling anything nice in Bb or especially Ab let me know now so I can start saving my milk money...

It will come to be known as The Great Crash of 2003... or perhaps The Crash to End All Crashes... or some such. The White House will want to know... Dale, I presume you are the liasion?

I have to wait on the cheaper ones, if there are any.
