Yes... Hole #3 on my instrument is larger than on other low Ds I have played. However, it is not quite as large as is seen in the pictures on this thread. I suppose my rather subjective estimate could be because of the angle and reflections in the photo itself, but I know Colin is always experimenting... As for hole #6, there is less of a reach for that bottom hole, than I have ever experienced in a low D whistle. My hands are rather normal sized, and this Goldie Narrow Bore low D, is very comfortable for me.
