Personally I always found Tubridy’s playing quite dazzling.

Personally I always found Tubridy’s playing quite dazzling.
Following your link I came upon a nice clip of Mick playing the whistle that will guide this back to more whistle related content.

They play one of the Kilfenora jigs(arguably 'the second Kilfenora jig'), the Old favourite and Patsy Geary's. Clare tunes.

Paddy always carried a whistle around with him, even in non-trad music situations.

He'd whip it out at a function, and surprise and charm everyone. Not many of us could get away with that. I've tried. And failed !!
