Enjoyed both but still prefer Mick Tubridy's music. Mick is a real gentleman who will never try to dazzle you.

Following your link I came upon a nice clip of Mick playing the whistle that will guide this back to more whistle related content.Personally I always found Tubridy’s playing quite dazzling.
They play one of the Kilfenora jigs(arguably 'the second Kilfenora jig'), the Old favourite and Patsy Geary's. Clare tunes.

Paddy always carried a whistle around with him, even in non-trad music situations.
He'd whip it out at a function, and surprise and charm everyone. Not many of us could get away with that. I've tried. And failed !!
