I am trying to find out more information about the Burke wide bore aluminum D whistle. I tried emailing Michael several days ago but haven't gotten a response. Is it wider than the aluminum session D? The website says it is essentially the same as the brass session D but made out of aluminum. That surprises me because I thought the aluminum and the brass session whistles where the same size. I just assumed that was the case, but maybe not. I couldn't find specifications on the website.

I email Michael Burke about this a while ago, and his answer was that the aluminum "wide" bore has the same bore as the brass "session" bore, and the aluminum "session" bore is somewhere between that and the "narrow" bore. Confusing, I know, but that's straight from the maker.
