Tell us something.: I'm a fiddler and, latterly, a fluter. I love the flute. I wish I'd always played it. I love the whistle as well. I'm blessed in having really lovely instruments for all of my musical interests.

Coronavirus and instrument sales

Post by benhall.1 »

Now that we're in the thick of it with the current, global coronavirus pandemic, the Mods have been thinking about the potential risks posed by sales of used instruments.

In the present circumstances, we would urge members to take extreme caution regarding sales, particularly of whistles, flutes and other wind instruments. It may be best to resist putting such instruments up for sale for the time being. If you absolutely cannot resist, then do the right thing and disinfect your instrument before you send, and disinfect it when you receive.
