Hi,
I'm the happy owner of an Oz Vambrace High D in blackwood and silver (2009). Very happy with the whistle but my main whistle is a Burke. I'm therefore thinking about selling the Vambrace and getting a low D Colin Goldie. Just would like to know what the current value of the Vambrace is so I can make up my mind about selling or trading it.

Did that. Most recent post dates bakc to 2013. Surely prices have changed a little ?

Actually, a search of Sold and Old turns up 3 sales from 2014:

I doubt that prices from 2013 would be much different. Of course, you could also ask Mitch, who would have an idea.

Value rolls with the economy... and then there are crazies, inflated, greedy, etc. factors, just saying.

And what is the difference between new and used?

Thanks and sorry. I did check but missed those posts because I searched on vambrace. It does give me an indication.

I actually expect a little more than that since the fittings are sterling silver and since Mitch is currently not taking orders. But I need tot think on that and look up conversion rates. Things are complicated with euros, us and aus dollars.

At the moment, The price for the blackwood/silver is $550 (Oz dollars) for new build requests.

I'm not taking new request for bit while the backlog subsides (still 1 year or more waiting time).

If you pass on your D, I'd be happy to renew the warranty - so long as it's OK condition - send me a PM?
