Did I miss something here ? (ooohh, I misread )
The world wide gathering is a nice idea, but I think something like that takes place everyday, all around the globe and it's called a session...
Really, really fell in love with the idea that all over this globe (and this board is the "living" proof of this) people gather, not for money, but just for the pure joy of playing music together (and having a few pints in the process)...
To be able to join this circle of joy, through music, is the reason I've been practising my fingers to shreds (not to mention the eardrums of my loved ones) for the last two years and will continue to do so !!!
This board doesn't need encouragement through Peoples magazine or any other magazine. It's perfect as is : a place where mere mortal whistle noobs such as myself can indulge in the wisdom and near perfectness
of the great ones of whistle such as (fill in your own name here).
