Tis indeed, but that first whack of " a day of ordinary miracles" was better than Java....,emmline wrote:I actually get this one frequently. Yes, it is nice.rebl_rn wrote: A fresh pot of coffee you didn't have to make yourself.
Slan,

And many a poor man that has roved,
Loved and thought himself beloved,
From a glad kindness cannot take his eyes.

A white one.
Around noon on Christmas Day a dark cloud came from the Atlantic, poured over the hill into the Glen and leFt us with a White one. It had been at least two years since we had any snow at all.

I hope you don't mind my asking, but where is "here." Just curious is all. I'm in Illinois.cskinner wrote:Gently snowy here, very nice for Christmas.

So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!

Sunny here, too, but cold enough for some ice in the ditches. I didn't see any ice on cow ponds, lakes, or creeks.
Went for Christmas dinner at noon, with the kinfolks. When my sister and I got home, we threw rocks up in the trees, trying to get some mistletoe. She got a little bit. Later she decided to try getting up in the bed of the truck and get some. She found a vacuum cleaner attachment, and reached up and got a clump of mistletoe to share with her friends. She gave me that little bit she got with the rock. It was all nice mistletoe, though. No blemishes, and good color.
