The Shamrocks and Celtic Crosses on the chest might be a bit of a hint!

Slan,
D.
And many a poor man that has roved,
Loved and thought himself beloved,
From a glad kindness cannot take his eyes.

You must have one of those magical, leprechan monitors.
I can't see any Celtic crosses or plants of any sort.

Actually, I think it looks German.
Saint Kermitt of all Frogs, perhaps?

Am I the only American history buff here? The Fighting Yank is a Minuteman, of course. (Notice the knee-breeches and buckle shoes? The tricorne is proof positive.)
I thought so, but then the flag on his shirt is historically incorrect!

While going through stacks of magazines, deciding what goes to Texas and what doesn't, my son ran across this:

Image

A figure in the word "MAD" is pointing at the word "Yale"--obviously a reference to the major party candidates in this election. MAD really was ahead of its time.

(The ocean is not slanting in the original. I was just too lazy to shoot and process carefully.)

I'm also disturbed by the shocking exposure of a length of bare shin above his sock. This is insupportable. For heavens' sake, where are the Comics Code people?
