Many double acting baking powders contain sodium aluminum sulfate: NaAl(SO4)2. Check out the stuff in your cabinet, look at the ingredients. Many antiperspirants and antacids may also contain aluminum. You are probably ingesting it from several other sources.

I wonder if, in the days of the bone whistle, anyone contracted diseases or illness from the bones of the deceased animal (I hope it wasn't human bone anyways)?
