Car whistling revisited.
I was doing a web search and happened across this word for playing whistle in the car: autoflageolation.

I don't play whistle in my RV anymore. When I first got the RV I put it on cruise control, and went in the back to play a few tunes. Next thing I remember was being in the ditch. ![lol ](./images/smilies/icon_lol_144.gif)

I play a few seconds on my whistle during red lights, or sometimes on slow, easy straight streets.
But the image that keeps popping into my head is my airbag going off and sending the whistle straight through my throat into my brain. I angle the whistle off to the side a bit, but either way - if the airbag goes off, it's a bad thing.
My airbag has never gone off, but that thought keeps going through my head.

Aye, but it's hard to walk with one leg longer than the other...Tommy wrote:I don't play whistle in my RV anymore. When I first got the RV I put it on cruise control, and went in the back to play a few tunes. Next thing I remember was being in the ditch.

When I whistle at stoplights, I can't get enough stoplights! People think I'll get honked at, but actually there's plenty of time to get started when the light changes (unless I leave my shifter in the wrong gear)!
I have steered with my knees and whistled on straight roads, but the image on the Chiff and Fipple website of the whistle in a guy's brain makes me nervous!

The fastest way to get across a large crowded American city at rush hour is to hold a whistle in one hand, waiting for a red light, so you can play.riverman wrote:When I whistle at stoplights, I can't get enough stoplights!
