I have two Burkes, an Al-Pro session D, and a Brass Pro narrow bore D.

They are both lovely!

The brass is slightly quieter with a little more focused tone, and has a stronger bell note.

Either one plays easily and well-in-tune into the stratosphere. :)

Both have that lovey Burke melancholy, pure-as-crystal sound.

I think these whistles do for music what melted butter does for popcorn! :D

And yet they won't clog your arteries. :P

I have the aluminum narrow-bore D and brass wide-bore C (both black-tips), and love 'em to death.

Burke whistles are truly a great investment, never to disappoint. I have a AL Pro Viper Low D and am thoroughly impressed by it. If I can sell my surfboard, I'll be getting a soprano D in the near future, and perhaps a low F if I can get enough dough for my board.

Happy whistling everyone'

Thx! No, I don't know howmany he has in stock. I'll just have to wait and see how long it takes before I receive my new whistle.

Might take some time, since I live in Holland, but I can wait. The other day I ordered someting from the US and received it in a forthnight, thought that was rather fast.

you could ask mick o'brien in dublin if he has any in stock,
he's the one and only official salesman for burkes in europe mikobrien@eircom.net
ask mick if he's got any in stock.
it don't matter if you've already paid michael burke, you can still get a whistle from mick.
