- Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Once again, I must lodge my protest at this unseemly barbarism on behalf of all haggid and haggiform comestibles, which are comprised of not only The Haggis itself, but such as are filled or wrapped and cooked in that manner, including but not limited to chiles rellenos, stuffed fowl, and items en papillotte. Naturally, filled pastries are a grey area, but we include them in soldarity and good will.
STOP THE HAGGIS-BASHING!
(edited for mistakes that happened because haggis oppression makes me SO ANGRY)

- Tell us something.: I restore 19th century flutes, specializing in Rudall & Rose, and early American flutes. I occasionally make new flutes. Been at it for about 15 years.

You was just lucky, sport!burnsbyrne wrote:Monster wrote:That's what happened to me too. Beginners luck or do they give you the first one to get you hooked?
Mike
I got 221 on my first try. My two best tries so far have been 872 and 870. And as far as I can tell there's some real random influence - some of my shortest and longest drives seemed to hit at nearly exactly the same point in the drop.

Ah, Nanohedron, can you not see that they are bred and raised for this purpose? I'm sure that if you took the time to question the little fellers, they'd tell you of the joy they feel in achieving their purpose in life. After all, is being bashed not better than being boiled, sliced and eaten by hairy guys in skirts?Nanohedron wrote:Once again, I must lodge my protest at this unseemly barbarism on behalf of all haggid and haggiform comestibles, which are comprised of not only The Haggis itself, but such as are filled or wrapped and cooked in that manner, including but not limited to chiles rellenos, stuffed fowl, and items en papillote.
