What a cutie! I can't believe how filled out she looks for being 3 weeks early and only 5 some pounds!

I'm so very happy for you and your hubby!

In an attempt to be witty I was going to post a quote by Winston Churchill. Since, as every one know, all babies look like Churchill. But instead of an amusing one I found this, which I quite enjoyed.
Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb.
Sir Winston Churchill
Congrats.

She's absolutely beautiful, Jessie! Isn't it amazing how life twists, turns and happens? You were certainly due for some good things to come your way.

Cindy and I have been trying for a while. We had an early-term miscarriage back in Dec. 2000. It was sad but at least we know that it is possible for us to have one. Even if we don't, though, I already feel doubly blessed to have this wonderful woman in my life. I don't think that I could actually express in words how much I love her.

All the best,
Paul

Mack, I love the poem!

Paul, yes, it is absolutely Amazing. Dan and I feel the same way you describe. I am sorry about your miscarriage...and I wish you both luck with getting pregnant again!

She's lovely -- she has a spark in her eye.

The good part's just beginning. It's just so cool knowing that everything is new to an infant. It'll be awhile, but in a few months or a year or two, you'll start remembering how it was when you discovered some of the things she'll be discovering.

Plus, babies are just plain goofy, in a way you can't really appreciate till you have one 24/7.
