FS: Busman Tulipwood Soprano D...SOLD!!!

Post by slowair »

A beautiful whistle. Plays as good as it looks.

No need to tell you anymore than it's a Busman.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid of hurting it. I'm a brass and PVC kinda guy, I guess.

Selling it for just what I paid for it a few months ago. I've only played it four times. I'm told it's about two years old, but you'd never know it from the way it looks.

Comes in a hard watch case that someone thoughtfully threw in along the way. You'd have to enclose it in lucite to protect it better.

Need $140 and the buyer pays for shipping.

Postal money orders only please.

Mike

Man, that's pretty whistle! Seems to be some kind of jewelry case, interesting.

Pardon the bump

Post by slowair »

Pardon the bump, I should've waited until after the holiday weekend to post this.

Only had one reply..said they were interested , but never wrote back, so it's still available.

Hurry, hurry, hurry...step right up for an honest to goodness Busman. No line, no waiting. Hurry, hurry, hurry.

:)

Tell us something.: Long ago, I was told that I faked iTrad whistle work very well. I took that comment to heart. 20 years of private lessons - and many, many hours of rehearsal later - I certainly hope I have improved...

For those of you that want a superb instrument, this is an incredibly low price - with hard case included...When I decided I wanted ONE wooden whistle, I chose Paul as the maker. I am glad I did.

Best to all.

I would also concur that Dr. Busman makes a heck of a fine tooter.

If people want to hear a clip, I think there's a clip of Tony Higgins playing a Busman plumwood on Tin Whistle Tunes. The tune is Cailin Deas Cruite na mBo, and it's about 1/2 way down the slow airs page here: http://www.tinwhistletunes.com/clipssnip/slowairs.html

I second (third???) the enthusiasm for these whistles. If I had $140 to spare right now, Lady Nightingale (my Busman Kingwood) would have a tulipwood sister.

Another fan of Paul's whistles here. If I didn't have one already I'd be in like a shot. I had trouble restraining myself as it is. This has to be one of the bargains of the year.

It's gorgeous for sure. I'd be on it, too, but my Rose arrived yesterday!!!!! I should be busy for a while, I think. Only problem is, I don't want to go to work! I want to stay home and whistle!

I can't believe this whistle hasn't sold yet...somebody hurry up and give it a new home! The clip by Tony gives a good feel for the Busman sound. Unfortunately, I'm waiting for Paul to get around to producing other keys or it would be highly tempting (hint hint)!

So now that you see "me", do ya wanna buy the whistle?

And not to worry, as soon as parcour buys the Busman, I'll change back to the avatar that you all know and love.

:D
And those are not my real teeth, for goodness sake. How could I play whistle with teeth like that?
