Hello all,
Hoping the turning of the season is kind to you!
Here the weather is finally turning from sweaty to bearable, as those in the north must be enjoying the turn from shivering to bearable. The spring and the autumn are times for celebration, north and south.
I have a few offerings:
Firstly, I have a cocobolo D on offer on my website.
Secondly, I am now finishing a couple of off-book Eb whistles because Eb is one of my favourite keys. One is cocobolo/brass, one is gidgee/brass.
Please PM me for first claim before they go on the website.
My favourite of all keys is B-Natural.
This key is not offered on my website for request, but you can request it here by PM, or by contacting me through the website.
(edited to add a couple of fun things on a B-natural whistle:

Re: CP: May update.
Hey, Mitch.
Lovely to see you.
It bears mention, for any who might listen to these two soundclips, the difference in timbre between the two samples is likely not a difference in the two whistles, but a difference in recording setting. The indoor sample, played by Colin Farrell, should give the better indication of what these whistles can be expected to sound like. (And it does sound gorgeous!)
Best wishes,
Jerry

All these things matter.
I do initial voice in a very harsh non-reflective environment, then do the tuning and final voice in a more live space. It all helps.
But I am always entranced by the difference the player makes. That's where the magic is. The rainbow is wider than anyone could imagine!
