A swingin' tune on Clips & Snips-Whistle & Xaphoon

Post by LimuHead »

Hey C&F folks!

Tony H. just posted a tune for me on Clips & Snips.

You can hear it by clicking on the link below, and then clicking on "Whistling Jazz":

http://tinwhistletunes.com/clipssnip/orig.html

It's an improvised jazzy number the band & I (Ka Ehu Kai) recorded a couple of weeks ago that features me playing my Susato D and a Xaphoon.

Comments are welcome...

Enjoy!

Now THAT was COOL!

Great job! That really helps show just how versatile the whistle can be.

That's GREAT! :D well played everyone-you all certainly sound as if you are having a ball! - Jazz CAN be played on whistle-you've most definately proved it!

You should get one! They're fun to play, but take some getting used to.
I got the plastic version for about $40 + tax! The bamboo one is more expensive.... :D

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

We were in the studio yesterday working on an album-ready version of Whistling Jazz (and other stuff for our 4th album). We're going to keep what we have now, but dress it up a little, and rework the levels.....

Thanks for listening! :D
