On another thread I realized that I'd never met another whistle player.
How about you? Have you ever met another whistler?

I've met virtually thousands.
Seriously, though, I've probably met several hundred in the flesh.

I don't get this question. I'm one of the few whistle players I haven't met.

Personally, actually really truly met? None. I was terribly happy when a friend of mine actually recognised my pennywhistle as a pennywhistle without being told.

As I was tripping up the stair
I met a man who wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today
I wish that he would go away.
I've only met one other whistler from this board, and they aren't on this board anymore. I guess that speaks volumes.
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that schwing

Lilymaid,
You caught me. I had hoped people would think it is me in my new
renfaire garb.
Yes it's Hank the 8th.
BTW, I like your avatar. I have a giant poster of that very picture hanging on a wall.

Yes, I haven't met any, yet. I hope to remedy that this weekend in St. Louis. Perhaps I'll meet someone else from the board and then we both can decide if that is a good or bad opportunity.

No, but conversely, I suspect I can count the others I've met on the fingers of one hand.
