OT: What's the OT you least want to see...

Post by fatveg »

In recent discussions of OT posts many people have observed that they make the place feel more like a community. We have had some great OT threads lately -- what does your name mean, share your avatar, what ails you, what is your star sign, what is your Meyers-Briggs score... all of these help us get to know each other as people. But, there has to be a limit, so please vote for the OT question you least want to see on the board, or, as you guys are so creative, add your own...

BTW, I guess we should mark posts about OT as META-OT

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

This will be both on and off-topic, and reflect my vote:

I picked recorder/whistle duets. Bad childhood memories. :) (Giving a third grade class a bunch of recorders and then telling them to play a tune on them. . . it wasn't pretty, I'll tell you that.)

In my experience anything scientific with a Russian name cannot be good news (Markovnikov/anti-Markovnikov regioselectivity is one such thing I recently had to battle). Thus I vote for the WTT as the vilest.

Since you brought it up I do have a good haggis recipe. It's completely vegetarian. I'm working on making it a curry. PM if you want it.
Cheers,

I too have a number of good haggis recipes! I even have a version that's made from beef instead of sheep parts. It tastes just as good as the real thing! But, then again, I love the real thing...I guess that sort of puts me in a major minority. How can 10 million Scottish people be wrong???

Tell us something.: I'm a New York native who gradually slid west and landed in the Phoenix area. I like riding on the back seat of a tandem bicycle. I like dogs and have three of them. I am a sometime actor and an all the time teacher, husband, and dad.
