It’s very odd to go through those early newsletters. Of course, by coincidence, I got interested in whistles, and started C&F, just as the Titanic movie came out, and then the broadening of interest in Celtic and, uh Celtic-tinged music. It’s amazing what an explosion of interest there was. For much of 2001 and 2002, I wrote a WEEKLY newsletter. That’s a lot of whistle news.
