Problems with a new flute?

I know, I’m a real french stereotype sometimes :laughing:

I can figure out which one is “The Beast”, but who is “Sweetie-Pie”??

I promise I’ll holler in your PM if I don’t find… Thanks!

Sweetie-Pie is the darling Murray. :slight_smile:

Ouch!

In my wooden trunk:

Hammy = Colin Farrell
Byrne = Pierce Brosnan

Murray = Bono!!!

My M.E.R.R. has the rather silly name “Polly.”

I think the discussion about this flute is going on far too long, enough is enough, either get it repaired , replaced, or get your money back, and get on with your life and your flute playing, im sure you have your mind made-up by now, so lets bury the hatchet and go forward.

What flute, glinjack? We’re talking about rock stars. And France. And pet names… I think chocolate was in there somewhere…I would say this thread has been well and truly hijacked! (What next? Nail polish colors?)

:wink:

Mary … Bono is a BRILLIANT name! Love it! (although I hope you leave the Fly glasses off the poor thing)

P.S. Wormdiet: The dog over there <---- in my avatar is named Polly, FWIW. So it’s a fine name as far as I’m concerned.

My 1828 8 key Rudall and Rose’s name is…

Michael Flatley.

(Not true. Just a joke.)

I prefer chartreuse myself, but only for toes.

Where’s the emoticon for :struggling not to wet pants:?

I assume it has gold filigree rings bands or something?

Ooooh! I bet that makes a smashing ensemble with, say, boxwood!

Of course… NOT!!! :laughing:

One day I promise I’ll put my beloved on the porn thread (my god, that sounds weird)

I was thinking something like this

I would be interested to see a flute made of Yellow or Green Delrin. :smiley:

I had something similar on the foot of my blackwood R&R. It didn’t affect the tuning or the sound. I had the maker polish the bore as much as possible (didn’t really do anything to sound), it got rid of some of the scarring, but it doesn’t affect the sound so I don’t care too much about it.
