Hans, I love Seydel harps, but I’ve had three reeds go bad on the 7 hole on the D harp. My G keeps plugging away, but I am reluctantly staying away from Seydel for a bit. I’m not up to retuning a harp (I’ve done it before, but I am down an arm at present) so I’ll probably just get some Lee Oskar melody maker reedplates and do the mix-and-match thing.
Really a shame, as the Seydels have such a lovely sound and playability.
