I enjoy the stratocasters very much though.
I played some weird Ibanez jazz guitar in school today. At least I think it was some kind of jazz guitar. It was one of those that looks almost semi-acustic, but has pickups like a normal electric guitar.
It looked sort of like this one:
I couldn’t get the hang of it. Don’t think I’ve ever played a more uncomfortable guitar in my life. But other seem to do fine on those, so I guess it’s just me and my poor experience.
I love guitars and if I can get my finances sorted out somehow this year I’ll be buying one of these:
To go alongside the ESP LTD Hybrid - 300 and Ibanez SA160QM I currently own. Or I could do something sensible like decorate my flat…
Used to have a very metal ESP LTD MH-250. It was gorgeous (even with the pointy headstocK) but I hated the floyd rose trem.
I also have a great value Freshman acoustic and a respectable assortment of effects pedals and gadgets (an ebow for example).
Never been a big fan of Gibsons. Just haven’t found one I like to play. Usually the action’s too high, the neck too wide and the balance doesn’t feel right on the strap. Could just be from a lifetime of playing fender clones I suppose.[/img]
