alright sbhikes, our flutes will be shipped out Monday, the 18th. i am so excited, i can hardly wait. 
BTW, did Casey ever get to you about ordering one? i ordered one, and the only confirmation i have was the paypal receipt. is that how it was for you?
I never received any memo that my flute is shipping or anything like that if that is what you asked me. I have noticed Casey keeps his site updated (with a canny little script to ensure that the date updated is always today’s date – ha ha you can’t fool this web developer!) So I assumed that’s how he keeps us updated.
I can only hope I am among his Monday shippers as I ordered in May but I did get an email that I might be in the “current” April batch. So we’ll see…
It’s pretty exciting. Will this be your first Irish flute? It will be my first Irish flute. I only hope I can play it well. I’m looking forward to hopefully playing some milder tones than my D whistle produces so as not to drive people screaming from the room. And I hope I don’t ruin it with bad care. This will be good practice for the eventual expensive flute I may one day own.
