Re: MY POLJEZ 8-KEY WITH IVOIRINE AND MOPANE HEADS NOW ON EB

Please don't get this listing confused with an old one from last year for a similar POLJEZ of mine which I sold privately shortly after the auction ended.

MY POLJEZ 8-KEY WITH IVOIRINE AND MOPANE HEADS NOW ON EBAY

I have just listed my POLJEZ 8-key with an ivoirine and a mopane head joint on eBay with the following URL. It has a low starting price and no reserve. Please send any questions to me via the eBay listing rather than this website.

INTEREST IN MY POLJEZ FLUTE?

Before I put my mint condition POLJEZ 8-key mopane D flute with ivoirine head joint plus extra mopane head joint on eBay I'm wondering if any members would care to express their interest to me privately.

Re: A Breton vs. an Irish flute?

... for a flute maker to design an instrument that suits better to breton music. Third or first octave, you can play anything you want with a Morvan, Poljez, Lesouef... and choose the sound you want. The player will make the difference.

Re: Which Makers Don't Get Enough Credit/Press?

I've heard good things about the French makers Poljez, Morvan and Lehart, and Lehart specifically has been brought to my attention a few times as a great option for a less expensive keyed flute. Maybe not being in the US, Ireland, or the UK (where ...

Re: Which Makers Don't Get Enough Credit/Press?

I think Peter Noy makes the finest flutes.

Also Poljez, Morvan, and Jil Lehart.

I played few times and really liked this Grinted combo, the D body is easy to play with very powerful sound and great tone, C body is mellow and deep with nice presence. Can't believe he is selling it
