Re: FS Michael Copeland Low D (SPF)

Ah, the private message thing is solved. I guess I need 3 approved posts before I can send or receive messages. I added an update to the Makers List, trying to make my quota.

... heard back. I mostly wondered if your whistle has the wind shield and Copeland stamp. This is in case if, at some later date, I'm forced to sell ... already on the far side of 70  and have got some neuropathy. But whistles have brightened my life and I intend to keep at it as long as possible. ...

Michael Copeland Low D (Still for Sale)

I had recently posted this whistle for sale in the whistle forum and the buyer fell through. On offer is a brass low "D" whistle which I have owned for a number of years and it is my time to pass it along. It has been a well loved instrument and it does have one small dent which I understa...

Anyone selling a Copeland?

Hi Guys,
Is anyone thinking of potentially selling a Copeland Whistle? I'm not fussy on the Key or the Material.
Willing to pay postage of the sellers choice to the UK.
Cheers,

Re: Next progression from a Clark advice please

The tin whistle exercises I recently posted are played on a Clarke Celtic/Sweetone whistle. The second exercise actually plays D in the third octave. I believe it is the mouthpiece that makes it such a great little whistle. I read that it was designed by Copeland.

Re: Onyx vs. Copeland, lower hole sizes

. . . But maybe they are already angled? I have an Onyx and took a close look at the holes. Much to see ! 1. thick walls 2. chamfers outside, with variations windward/leeward. 3. hole-walls have plainly visible differing angles windward/leeward. I have a vague recollection of a post by Ralph Sweet ...
