Just saw CTL with Solas in Charlottesville at a Re-Imagining Ireland Conference (also Green Fields of America-Mick Moloy, and DeDannan).

CTL was terrific and so were the rest of the groups. Well worth seeing!

Joanie Madden plays the Traveler models. She told a story in concert how she ran over a bag of her whistles with a car. All of the wooden whistles were smashed, but the Travelers were unharmed.

Don't go away!! It's just that those of us with more history with the Whistle Shop in general and Thom Larson in particular know that he really is a good guy.
