Re: uilleann pipe bellows leaking
Hi all - no it's not new from David, it's second hand - bought from someone here on the Chiffboard. I just placed an order yesterday from Kellertrad for a set of the most basic bellows. I thought it mightn't be a bad idea as the screws from the original bellows that hold the padding on were. When I ...

FS: D Chanter and Half set by David Daye
Hi all - I've a delrin half set by David Daye. Bought it to learn on but never practiced enough. Comes with Extra free reed in a protective tin, and a Kelleher popping strap Works well - I've seen and heard it in action by other uilleann pipers, just not keen to practice pipes. Selling for US$1000 p...

Re: David Daye
Well it's almost the new year and I was wondering if anyone else in the same boat as me has received their pipes, or still waiting?

FS: Seery Delrin Keyless + soft zipped case
Hi all, if anyone is in the market for a delrin flute, this is a good one to have. It's a Seery delrin keyless. Originally came without a case but I am including one. It's 3 compartments, lined with wool and can be zipped, and buckled. Photo: https://app.box.com/s/dohlfxabtbad3ip8t4jh Selling for US...

Re: FS: E.Cotter D, 6 Keys, double Bb Key, Blackwood
Recently, at a local festival I came across another Eamonn Cotter flute with the double Bb key (operated by both left and right hand). I was intrigued because it was different to mine, which uses the left thumb. Still, pretty good flute =)

Thanks Jon =) for the CA glue tip (that's superglue, i take it?).
Hasn't acted up after sanding the cork down, so all's good.

Re: barrel stuck to body
Hi all, and thank very much for suggestions and advice! The event happened yesterday morning (here in NZ). I'd already swabbed out what I could by removing the headjoint from the barrel, not wanting it to soak in more water, and it was sitting the whole day and overnight. After reading the replies, ...

barrel stuck to body
Hi all. Have an issue here. My keyed flute is stuck! The barrel and body are now inseparable. I had the top tenon recorked by a local music tech. Put it together and maybe played an hour. After that it wouldn't come apart. I haven't tried twisting or forcing it as it is very tight. I've left it alon...

Re: Interesting (?) - Killarney Whistles/Órlaith McAuliffe demo
I just received delivery of this whistle. They said 3-4 weeks but it arrived in less time than that. It's a pretty good whistle imho. I like the tone it is clear and uncluttered and doesn't squeek . I thought it sounded a bit quiet on my end but some friends i was playing with said it totally wasn't...
