Better visibilty for leaving makes sense. Living on a cul de sac does limit the threat of traffic. Thanks.

The new neighbors: are they tacti-kool?

I live on a cul de sac. We have new neighbors. They invariable back their vehicles into their driveway so that the front of their vehicles point to the street ... like they are ready for a quick get away. I know I have too much time on my hands to be writing about such an inane subject and should in...

Re: Unsolicited Entertainment?

I've seen a few people say that they play their whistles in parks. I assume they are referring to city parks or town commons or somewhere similar, and that they don't mean national parks or ammusement parks or some other definition. (Being that we have people from all over the world here, you can't...

Alba alto G for sale to finance wife's bodhran

Tis a sad story. I have had the Alba for 8 days. You could say it's new. Beautiful sound. No scratches, low miles. I figured I would get my wife a really nice bodhran; she deserves one and has been hinting about a new one. So there you go. Delivered to your door in the US for $145. Outside the US, a...

Simple, $$$. A Walton's is still a great improvement on a pizza box. But not as good as a plastic tray    Nice one Davy  I just don't get it why beginner bodhran players so often get recommended to start with a tourist drum for $50. I doubt that the same people would recommend ...

First off ... you folk ae really great; thank you. I am of the school that I will get the real thing. Of course, getting the real thing is more expesive. That said, my wife is a amazing little thing. Sings like a bird, did Broadway for some years; and the whistles delights her. Can you imagine havin...
