Indeed, my next adventure is to learn the GHB. I bought my chanter yesterday. I have a tuner on my pc to train my pitch and I'm soon to find an instructor!

Yes, I've noticed. I didn't bother to correct them. In fact, that's how I typically end up describing what I play to most folks when they don't get 'whistle' or 'Irish whistle': it's an end-blown flute is a description that the commoner usually can get their head around.

The Acorn is painted green and the Oak is plated. I may use them to learn tweaking. They flip pretty easy compared to the Clarkes I have.
