Hi Guys
I am currently ordering a flute and in my head I would like bone/ivory foot and endcap and possibly same as domes on low c keys.. and also milled/ engineered silver rings
Just wondering would anyone have pictures of same to aid design

Just wondering is anyone looking to buy a keyless hammy flute in african blackwood.There 850e new,this one I got approx 4 years ago and is nicely broken on and very playable,I have since mpved on to a keyed flute.All reasonable offers considered,

Hmmm ... lovely flute playing. Am I the only one, though? I had to turn it off not long after the guitar came in - it was, basically, out of time and out of tune. Odd ... There was something funny about the sound quality though, and I'm wondering if that could have made things worse? the flute was ...

Surely not much of a mystery here. The wood (especially if it is of the box variety) in a flute can react to the trauma of being reamed, turned, drilled, posted and played, by changing its shape. Even wood which has been out of its tree for many decades is well able to fidget a bit after such treat...

I live in galway and can say that I've played nearly all the flutes that have left Sam's shop in the last year/year and a half..keyed and unkeyed I have yet to play one that was out of tune.I think it helpfull to suggest players adjust emboucheres to suit the flute..The shape of the embouchere does ...

oboe will be based on early classical oboe,modern tuning..standard oboe reeds.Standard flute fingering& cross fingering..2key, persian(best)boxwood and ivory.It will of course play into 2nd octave.
